The Team Quest Head Quarter facility in Portland, OR has recently made some big changes to their fitness programs. At the beginning of this year, the FitQuest program was launched and for the last 8 months the workouts have been changing people’s lives.
Weight loss, increased endurance, strength building are just bi products of the program. The real success of the program has been the growth in leadership skills developed, the camaraderie built in team work exercises and people with absolutely no skills in MMA have been able to have the confidence to attend regular classes in submission wrestling, boxing, kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu without any hesitation. That is confidence.
The FitQuest program utilizes fitness products designed and developed by real world class athletes with world class experience. Ivan Ivanov, creator of the Suples training systems has been influential in the growth of the FitQuest program. The products that Suples designs and produce are specific for combat fitness. Anyone who is serious about trying to be fit for combat will want to take a closer look at the Suples training systems made by coach Ivanov. The speed dummy is a lightweight throwing dummy designed to give athletes of all skill levels the ability to learn how to properly perform a throw without straining themselves by maneuvering a heavy dummy stuffed with sand and shredded clothing. The speed dummy is only 45 lbs and is designed to withstand the toughest conditions. This dummy can be used on the mat, grass, track, sand and even gravel.
Just this week, Team Quest recently installed the Suples “Gladiator Wall”. It’s sounds as scary as it looks made from the strongest oak trees in Bulgaria, the Gladiator wall is a functional and diverse pull up, sit up, dip, resistance & climbing station. The training system is easy to install, fun to use and is completely different to anything else out there in the fitness market. You won’t find a gladiator wall, speed dummy or the H.I.R.T.S (High Intensity Training System) in just any gym. Most MMA gyms don’t even have this technology yet. Come in today and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
FitQuest is offered at 5 different times a day and is a free training program with any regular membership at Team Quest. Be present, Be prepared, it’s time for combat!
