Team Quest is constantly working to stay above the rest. In the city of Chiang Mai Muay Thai is growing fast. With the ever expanding sport of mixed martial arts, we decided that adding a focused Muay Thai program will do just that. Team Quest Thailand has managed to recruit the highest level of Chiang Mai Muay Thai fighters and trainer’s in the world.
Team Quest Thailand started off by bringing on Thailand’s famous Muay Thai twins. HongTongNoi (Kru Joe) and HongTongLek (Kru Gen) are regarded as the most technical Muay Thai trainers in Thailand. These two are an amazing combination. Since Kru Joe is retired from actively fighting, he has focused all of his attention on teaching students. In less than a year of operation, Kru Joe has coached his twin brother HongTongLek to a Thailand championship belt at Lumpinee stadium. The twins have single handedly put Chiang Mai Muay Thai on the map. Kru Joe was appointed Team Quest Thailand’s head trainer because of his ability to lead sessions and work with every students needs.
Thailand MMA is experiencing a rapid growth. With more Muay Thai fighters turning to the sport each day, it’s no wonder Team Quest Thailand chose to open in Chiang Mai. Team Quest has produced some of the highest level MMA athletes in the world. Most notable MMA atheletes include Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, Matt Lindland, and Chael Sonnen. For over 15 years our MMA program has been of the highest caliber. It all started when Randy Couture won the UFC heavyweight championship in Yokohama, Japan in 1997.
To this day, Team Quest continues to stay relevant and above the curve. With the growth of Mixed Martial Arts worldwide, we feel it is our obligation to help spread the sport around the world. Thailand MMA is expected to increase 900% over the next 3 years.
