The newest edition of the Team Quest family celebrated their grand opening this past weekend with an awesome turn out for their grappling tournament which saw the likes of competitors of all shapes and sizes as well as all ages. The grappling tournament was the first stage of the days events and was a great way to kick off the day’s festivities.

Team Quest Olympia was lucky to have 5 time SportFight champion Enoch Wilson conduct a Judo for MMA seminar which incorporated a number of ways to get your opponent to the ground with the use of judo throws and variations of the ancient Japanese martial art.

Matt “The Law” Lindland, owner and head coach for Team Quest in Portland was also on hand to teach a Dirty Boxing seminar. Lindland showed various techniques for fighting close range in the clinch and how to capitalize on getting your opponent to the ground while in the clinch.

FitQuest master trainer Scott McKendry and General manager of the head quarter location in Portland put the folks from the Olympia gym through a FitQuest workout that left a lot of people exhausted. The workout was a mix of aerobic, anaerobic and endurance based cardiovascular training that is specifically designed for combat athletes.
The day overall was a huge success and we are excited to have everyone from Team Quest Olympia a part of our MMA family. If you are looking for the best instruction in MMA, Kickboxing, Submission Wrestling and Fitness, you have to check out Team Quest Olympia and see what all the Buzz is about.
